Tales of Jack the Ripper

So after I'm done with doing my Alphabet, I will begin working on either short stories or one large story of Jack the Ripper. Going to be FUN!

I'm suddenly hungry...for goat.

Just taking a little break from the Alphabet, with something a little different...The original was not drawn by me but by a friend named Alex Yates, Check out his blog here!

Just thought I would test myself and see what I can bring to the table with my lines.

J for Jokes

The problem with having a themed Alphabet is that you will soon encounter a letter where you begin to realize that there isn't really a word for that letter. So this one strained me a little... Comics can be funny...there are some dedicated to Jokes sooo, BOOM J is for Jokes.

I for Inked

This was going to be something totally different, but huzzah for last second ideas before I fall asleep (which happens way too often...). I'm very happy with how the colours turned out...or colour.
He didn't want the treasure, he wanted ink...from a squid...

H for Horror

I've been meaning to draw one of these scenes for a long time and finally I found a reason! I love how comics execute these types of scenes, with most of the panels blacked out with just the white being the light leaving a silhouette of a character in the doorway.

G for Gutter

There were a couple of different solid ideas for me to interpret the word gutter...and well obviously I went with the more humorous one, to fit in with the overall theme of my Alphabet.

F for Fantasy

I was not listening to Dragonforce when I came up with the idea! Honest! Anyway, speaks for itself this one. One man vs the World.

E for Ending

All good things must come to an End, unless you're Immortal...which you're not. Though some stories just go on and on, still each issue has to end in someway.
Well that's me trying to justify my decision for going with 'Ending' for E.

D for Detail

Have I mentioned that I love detectives/Inspectors? No? Well I do, and this piece is as awesome!
Not much to say though other than that, Eye for detail I guess.

C for Characters

Soooo if no one has guessed yet, my overall theme for this brief is focused on my affiliation with Narrative and Comics, and with any Comic comes the Characters/Cast. This is based on me and three of my friends (What a wacky bunch eh?!).
Oh and yes I'm the shortest out of my friends.

B for Bleed

Bleed as in 'the image is Bleeding off the page, or panel in this case. Sort of took a dark turn with this one, But I think it was for the best...Still trying to get as much narrative as I can into the image. I really enjoyed this one :)

A for Atmosphere

First letter for my Alphabet Brief, so Expect more to come!
Keeping things simple, but still trying to get my narrative across. There is going to be text/title under the image, but that will come when it comes.
Sooo Yeah Graveyards, perfect places for some creepy atmosphere.

Work Space?

Just thought I will share this with the Intermaweb. Kinda Ghetto but it get's the Job done :)
Kinda alot in this that says what kind of guy I am.

Bottom of the Bottle

Note: I did not draw this while under the influence of Alcohol.
I think the image kinda speaks for its self...but maybe we all shouldn't think that there's going to be anything better waiting for us at the bottom.
Drink Responsibly!
